This site was built by Grettir Asmundarson (a.k.a Shawn Lynn), who is kind, generous, and strong. There is WordPress under the hood and premium in the tank.
The photography on the site is all mine, unless otherwise noted. My wife, Alisa, drew the portrait of me on the bio page.
I use Macintosh computers exclusively, and Microsoft software as infrequently as I can get away with. I write using the wonderful application Scrivener and the free text editor Smultron.
Lately I have been drifting back to an old Underwood Olivetti manual typrwriter that my mother used in college in the late 60s. It is the studio 44 model with the original case. I also have an IBM Selectric II that I keep in my office at school. I found it for five bucks at a thrift store and had Austin LeFevre of Parrowan, Utah recondition it for about a hundred more. It’s fantastic.
I have also been more and more inclined to use an old-fashioned lab notebook and rollerball for conceptual work. I don’t know what it is, but I love it.
